Peter brings over 25 years of technology industry management and leadership experience to Webalo. He has successfully served as a founder and/or senior executive in the financing, building and sale of four early stage technology companies and his extensive business operations experience spans all of the major global software markets.

In 1984 he co-founded Expertech, a European developer of expert system software and in 1990, he managed the acquisition of Expertech by Inference, a California based provider of self-service and knowledge management tools for the customer service and help desk industries. In July 1995 he was a member of the Management Committee that organized Inference's successful IPO.

In 1996 he joined Limbex, developer of the award winning WebCompass product, an end-user tool for acquiring and managing Internet information, and participated in its sale to Quarterdeck later that year. In 1997 he co-founded TriVida, the leading provider of a networked personalization hosted service and managed its acquisition by Be Free (NASDAQ: VCLK) in 2000.

Rob Edenzon
VP Sales

For more than 24 years, Rob has managed sales organizations large and small at firms as diverse as Overture/Yahoo!, the search engine giant, and Inference Corporation, an artificial intelligence pioneer, where he established the company’s first Value Added Reseller program. As a sales professional, Rob was recognized for his contributions at United Satellite Communications, US Leasing, and CRWTH Computer Courseware, demonstrating his abilities in both B2B and B2C environments.

At Baker & Taylor, Rob increased the company’s profit margins by 30% before being asked to oversee the $20 million Affiliate Marketing division of the firm. Yet, as the market moved toward online delivery of software and services, Rob moved to the Web, as well, at Ticketmaster Online CitySearch, creating a viable sales organization in only six weeks and then turning around the company’s worst region, making it number one in the country. During his tenure, he hired and trained more than 200 sales representatives in 25 cities in under nine months.

During his tenure as VP of Sales at TriVida, Rob helped demonstrate the demand for the firm’s real time recommendation technology, making it attractive to an acquisition partner.

Rob serves at the LA County Business Technology Center as a CEO mentor in the areas of sales and business development, sharing the wide-ranging experience he gained during consulting engagements at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Manheim, Hostedsupport.com, Infotrieve, and Sendio (in addition to his other positions), with the CEOs of start-ups. Now, at Webalo, he rejoins many of his former Inference and TriVida colleagues to help drive business development and revenue growth.

Phil has spent the majority of his career delivering successful solutions to customers. A graduate of The University of Michigan in mathematics, he earned a Masters and Ph.D. in computer science at The University of Wisconsin. For the next ten years, Phil was funded by the Department of Defense to apply his research skills in artificial intelligence to develop rule-based and object-oriented technology and applications.

Over the past 20 years, Phil’s focus has been on delivering successful customer deployments, delivering value to major corporations (including American Express, AT&T, Ford, HP, Reuters, SBC, Xerox) and government agencies (NASA, U.S. Air Force). In 1986 Phil joined Inference Corporation to manage the development and delivery of commercial knowledge-based systems, six of which won awards for their use of innovative technology and for providing significant business benefits. In 1998, Phil joined TriVida to manage and deliver successful customer solutions in networked personalization.
